Is Apple’s iAd going to gobble the mobile advertising market ?
Apple’s ad network is on the top of all the mobile market’s polemics. Is iAd going to kill the mobile advertising market? Are they going to create an advertising monopoly on their devices?

These changes will take part in the newest version of the Developers Agreement (3.3.9), which will grant a monopoly-like advantage to Apple’s ad network. This agreement states that “Notwithstanding anything else in this Agreement, Device Data may not be provided or disclosed to a third party without Apple’s prior written consent. Accordingly, the use of third party software in Your Application to collect and send Device Data to a third party for processing or analysis is expressly prohibited.”
It is yet hard to tell to what extent iAd will affect advertising on Apple’s devices. Apple being Apple, they like to keep a bubble of mystery around their statements. Nevertheless, worse comes to worse, let’s just hope that Google won’t have the same idea for Android apps.
